Recently I relocated to Salt Lake City from Wichita. I got to tell you, I ain’t in Kansas anymore! Some of the things that I really like about Utah are probably the mountains and a great deal of trees. Kansas was actually flat and open, while Salt Lake City has hills, tall trees and delightful views of the sun. My residence is inside a section of the city that is more residential and suburban, near downtown. This excited me and was one reason why I purchased this particular house. It reminded us a great deal of home but wasn’t too rural.
A couple days ago there was this really terrible rainstorm plus it had substantial winds. The gusts of wind were so strong it caused one of several tall, old trees in my backyard to uproot and start leaning towards my house. My neighbor recommended I call a tree removal business around town to cut it down and move it off the property. I agreed with my neighbor because of the potential for the tree to essentially fall on the top of my house and cause harm. So after a few hours, the consultant with the tree removal company came to complete a site visit inside my house to check out the tree for himself. He needed to perform this to determine the type of job it really was and what other resources that might be needed.
Following walking across the yard, analyzing the tree, and its location to my home, he informed me he will have to lease a small crane to accomplish the job. Typically their jobs only require him to reduce trees, which is easy. Since the tree was so high and leaning towards my home’s roof, he required extra equipment to pull the actual tree from the ground. This was going to add to the price of the tree removal, but I was fine with that. In my mind it would be less expensive than having to substitute my roof! He utilized his mobile phone to contact a few Salt Lake City crane rental firms. After a few minutes he finished their cost calculation, I agreed to it and he was off and away to get his crew and get the gear. Larsen Crane offers crane rental services in Salt Lake City.
The tree removal company returned that mid-day and I have to tell you, these people looked like something from a Leslie Nielsen movie. Goofy, specialized, however ready to work. It was humorous to look at. Anyway, they had all of us eliminate all the furniture as well as associated items that were in the backyard close to the tree. Next they setup the crane so that it could be capable of being able to grasp the tree so that it could be pulled up from the ground. They gradually utilized the crane to drag the tree up so that as they did it made this really loud sound. I could see that our neighbors had been truly curious about what we were doing. Many of them came out to their backyards to see exactly what all of the noise was about plus they waved to us as the crane had been run. We waved back because a number of them returned inside their homes. Following about 45 minutes the tree removal company had completely drawn the tree out of the ground, cut it up into pieces so that it could be moved effortlessly. We got to keep some of the tree as fire wood, therefore we completed the opening in which the tree was once with soil and little trees which will at some point grow to be as high as the one we eliminated.
